Description / message
Front left laser malfunction:
FWA 9000 and inform service!
Front right laser malfunction.
FWA 9000 and inform service!
Rear left laser malfunction.

Reference cameras:
LED distance setting could not be made:
Ensure that the field of view is unobstructed for all
reference cameras and the sensor heads are positi-
oned correctly.
Continue to the next step to make the LED dis-
tance setting once again.

Description
Windows does not start due to
non-registration
FWA 9000 only runs in demo
mode.

R Protective laser housing da-
maged.

closed correctly.
R Laser defective.
R Field of view of the reference
cameras is covered.
R Sensor heads are not aligned
correctly to one another.
R Operation of the reference
cameras is disrupted by re-
flections or direct sunlight.
Possible cause
The Windows version was not registered
after installing Windows.
Dongle not plugged in.
No licence.
License server is not activated.
No voltage supply.
Device switch off.
Connecting cable defective.
Monitor switched off.
Brightness and contrast not proper-
ly set.
Cable connection defective.
Monitor defective.
Incorrect monitor setting.
Monitor or graphics card defective.
Path to unit obstructed.
Remote control battery flat.
"RemoteControlEx" program not started.
"RemoteControlEx" program incorrect-
ly configured.
Printer switched off.

Remedy / action
Inform service.
R Ensure an unobstructed view between the
reference system cameras.
R Avoid direct sunlight at the measurement
bay.
R The alignment of the sensor heads can be
checked and corrected by means of the
"Aligning the sensor heads" function at
"Maintenance" and "Tools".
Remedy
Register Windows version via Internet or by telephone.
Plug in dongle.
Execute licensing.
Activate license server.
Check mains socket, mains fuse and mains connector
(charging station).
Switch on device switch in trolley.
Replace connecting cable.
Switch on monitor (monitor switch).
Adjust brightness and contrast.
Check connector between monitor and computer and
replace cable if necessary.
Inform customer service.
Adjust brightness, contrast, height and position of dis-
play.
Inform customer service.
Alter position of remote control (to avoid obstruction).
Fit new battery.
Start program.
Perform configuration as per Online Help.
Switch on the printer.
Insert fresh paper.
Replace ink cartridge.
Check paper guide.
Check wiring and connector to printer.
Install printer as per manual.
Inform customer service.
