These instructions must be read and understood before

operation.

Use the welding helmet only for eye and face protection
against harmful ultra violet and infrared radiation, sparks
and spatter from welding.
Never look directly at welding arcs without eye protection
when the arc is initiated. Failure to do so may cause painful
inflammation of the cornea and potentially irreversible
damage to the lens which may result in cataracts.
Look out! Danger of injury if a person wearing a mask and
goggles is hit by particles thrown at high speed.
Before each use :
- Carefully inspect the mask and its UV/IR filter.
- Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Replace filter lenses or face shields if they are cracked or
scratched to prevent damage to the user's eyes.
The opto-electronic filter in the mask is not waterproof and
will not function properly if it has been in contact with
water.
The welding mask must be moved carefully to avoid
damage to the filter, guards and/or protective shell.
Oxyacetylene, laser or gas welding and cutting is not
permitted with this mask.
Before each use :

Protection screens are designed to provide additional protection for your welding
helmet. They protect the LCD screen against molten metal splashes and all
incandescent projections that occur during welding.
The internal protection screen is recommended when working in wet/humid
environments as it prevents misting.
The external protection screen protect the helmet from scratches and shocks that
could damage your screen.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before welding, check that the welding screen darkens efficiently to protect the eyes
(eg. the flame from a lighter).
• Only use the accessories and spare parts listed in this manual or recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Do not use the welding helmet without a protective screen to prevent damage to
the LCD panel.
• Protect the LCD panel and the protection screen from dirt.
• Regular replace the protection screen for more visibility and comfort.

Maintenance :
Do not place heavy objects or tools on or in the
facepiece to avoid damage to the filter or face
shields.
Mask storage temperatures range from -10°C to
+60°C.
Clean the Optoelectronic Filter with a clean cotton or
special lens cloth.
Regularly clean and change the guard screens.
Clean the inside and outside of the mask with a
neutral detergent-disinfectant. Do not use solvents.

The external protection screen (2) is removable by
placing a finger under the screen on (A) of the helmet
(1).
When changing
the screen, make sure that the
protective film (3) has been removed. This film must be
removed only once the protection screen is in position
inside the helmet.
