BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1.
Unplugged at wall outlet.
2.
ON-OFF switch not turned on.
3.
Thermal protector tripped.
4.
Tripped circuit breaker/blown
fuse at household service panel.
5.
Defective wall outlet.
1.
Dust cover improperly installed.
2.
Clogged hose or nozzle.
3.
Full or clogged dust bag.
4.
Dirty filters.
5.
Broken belt.
6.
Belt not installed on motor shaft.
7.
Worn agitator.
8.
Hole in hose.
1.
Bag improperly installed.
2.
Bag torn.
Broken belt.
1.
Wrong pile height setting.
2.
Suction too strong.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
1.
Plug in firmly. Push ON-OFF
2.
Push ON-OFF switch to ON.
3.
Allow to cool 50 minutes and
thermal protector will reset itself.
4.
Reset circuit breaker or replace
fuse.
5.
Check with a good appliance or
lamp. Have outlet properly
serviced.

Properly install dust cover.
2.
Clean hose or nozzle area.
3.
Replace dust bag.
4.
Clean or replace secondary filter
and/or replace exhaust filter.
5.
Replace belt.
6.
Install belt on motor shaft.
7.
Replace agitator.
8.
Replace hose.

Properly install bag.
2.
Replace bag.

Replace belt.

Adjust setting.

Open suction control.
