• A daptor KRD 100 is intended for use by persons with the relative experience
and knowledge or persons who have been given instruction concerning its
use by a person responsible for their safety.
• F or safety reasons, some electrical products must not be connected to adap-
tor KRD 100. This applies to eg toasters and transportable electric heaters.
Please ensure products can be operated by remote control before connection
to the adaptor by checking the installation instructions supplied with the
product or contacting the manufacturer.
• B efore operating ensure that the connected product can be operated without
risk of damage to property or injury to people or animals.
• The adaptor should be plugged into a compatible socket only.
• Permissible load of connected product: max 2300 W.
• In case of defect, the adaptor must be disposed of as described below.

• The adaptor is for indoor use only.
• I nstallation in rooms with a high level of humidity must comply with relevant
regulations (contact a qualified electrician if necessary).
• T he adaptor should not be placed behind metal as this will impair the func-
tion of the built-in RF receiver.

• T he adaptor has been designed for use with io-homecontrol
controls, eg VELUX remote control KLR 100.
• E lectrical products must be disposed of in conformity with national regula-
tions for electronic waste and not with usual household waste.
• The packaging can be disposed of with usual household waste.
• Radio frequency band: 868 MHz.
maintenance and service
• T he adaptor requires a minimal amount of maintenance. The surface may be
cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.

Fitting
Plug in adaptor KRD 100.
Registration
Before being put into operation, the adaptor must be reg-
istrered in a VELUX remote control KLR 100 or another
io-homecontrol
Switch on power supply. The light-emitting diode on the
adaptor flashes slowly on and off. Registration must be
completed within the next 10 minutes, see directions
for use for remote control KLR 100 or activation control
in question. When the light-emitting diode goes out,
registration has been completed and the adaptor is ready
for use.
If registration has not been completed within 10 minutes,
the light-emitting diode will flash quickly on and off to
signal that registration is no longer possible. To permit
renewed registration, see Resetting below.
Registration of additional one-way activation controls
It is possible to register additional io-homecontrol
one-way activation controls in the adaptor by pressing
the blue button briefly (1 second). Registration must be
completed within the next 10 minutes, see instructions
for the activation control in question.
