Replacing the battery
If the instrument is not used for a longer period of time, remove the
batteries and keep the instrument in an environment that is not moist or
too hot.
Do not leave any used batteries in the measurement instrument, because
even batteries protected against discharge can corrode and, thus, release
chemicals that could damage your health and destroy the instrument.
Procedure
If the operating voltage of the battery is

insufficient, the battery symbol appears on the
LCD display; the battery must then be replaced.
For operation, the Berner
|
requires 2 × Micro, LR03, AAA or similar types.
Open the battery compartment by folding away
|
the battery compartment cover from the handle.
Replace the batteries of the similar type, pay
|
attention to the polarity, fold down the battery
compartment cover on the handle.
Batteries must not be disposed of with normal domestic waste.
