Explanation of buttons

Buttons
The buttons "Laser", °C/°F and
"Background lig." are for activating the
functions such as the laser point, background
lighting and selection between °C and °F.
MODE button
By pressing the button MODE, switching
between the maximum and minimum value
indication is carried out on on the small
display.

Button for temperature measurement

Using this button, the temperature
measurement is activated.
When the laser point is activated, symbol on
the display, this is also activated by this and
indicates the centre of the measurement area.

Temperature measurement

For measuring temperatures, align the aperture of the IR sensor to the
object to be measured and press the button for temperature measurement.
Make sure that the size of the area to measure is not greater than the
measurement object. The actual temperature value determined is
displayed on the LCD display. To localize the hottest locations of an object,
the Berner Thermo Control III is pointed at a point outside of the area
required and, with the button held for temperature measurement, the
hottest location is "searched for" with a "zigzag" motion.
After the button for temperature measurement is released, the
temperature value determined is indicated for approx. 10 seconds.
