Press the spindle lock button 9 to lock the grinding
spindle.
Screw on the clamping nut 15 and tighten it with
the two-pin spanner 17.
Pay attention that the collar of the clamping nut 15
faces away from the machine, as shown in the fig-
ure.
 After mounting the diamond cup wheel and
before switching on, check that the diamond
cup wheel is correctly mounted and that it can
turn freely. Make sure that the diamond cup
wheel does not graze against the guard and
extraction hood or other parts.
Changing a Diamond Cup Wheel
When transporting the machine, the diamond cup
wheel 14 should be removed to avoid damage to it.
 Do not touch diamond cup wheels before they
have cooled. Diamond cup wheels become very
hot while working.
Press the spindle lock button 9 to lock the grinding
spindle.
 Actuate the spindle lock button only when the
grinder spindle is at a standstill. Otherwise, the
machine may become damaged.
Loosen the clamping nut 15 with the two-pin span-
ner 17 and unscrew the clamping nut. Remove the
diamond cup wheel 14.

Quick-clamping Nut

For convenient changing of grinding tools without
the use of additional tools, you can use the quick-
clamping nut 16 instead of the clamping nut 15.
 Use only a flawless, undamaged quick-clamp-
ing nut 16.
 When screwing on, pay attention that the side
of the quick-clamping nut 16 with printing
does not face the diamond cutting disc; the ar-
row must point to the index mark 18.

Dust Extraction

 Dust from materials such as lead-containing
