The right cleaning is important.
The construction of your shower enclosure
allows easy cleaning. The profiles enable the
water rinsing down and the glass inside has
a smooth surface. Thus your shower
enclosure is remaining shiny for a long time.
You should follow some rules:
All profiles and glass panes should be
cleaned with mild cleansers without
scouring agents. On no account use
cleansers with scouring agents, alcohol, cel-
lulose thinner etc. The surface of ESG (safety
glass) is comparable with window glass,
glass tables and normal drink glasses, ...that
means due to wrong treatment, e.g. with
steel wool or rough micro-fibre cloth ,
scratches will be caused, lime causes dirt
...the decisive factor is cleaning regularly -
the older the depositions are, the more
difficult they can be removed. Another
advice which saves cleaning time and
energy: rinse the shower directly after
having taken a shower, hot first, then cold,
and at last dry it.

The mechanical parts of the shower
enclosure also need some maintenance in
order to maintain optimal operation over
many years. It is therefore advisable to
annually lubricate guide-rails, rollers and
joints e.g. with vaseline or silicone spray and
to re-tighten the screws of rollers and metal
fittings.
The easy-clean coating.
The easy-clean coating is a special
treatment. The glass obtains an extra
smooth surface, which avoids that dried on
water drops, rests of soap, dirt and lime
traces get a persistent foothold. You cannot
save cleaning at all, but all kind of traces
can be removed much easier and less
exhausting. Comparable with the anti-cling
coating of your frying pan.
Your shower enclosure gets shiny and easy
to care and in addition you care for the

After cleaning the shower enclosure it is
important to rinse thoroughly with clean
water to prevent residues remaining on
the glass or corrosion damage to the profile
surfaces.
Please take care:
When using lower bottom profiles or no
bottom profiles for the shower enclosure,
less water protection is provided.
Therefore it is absolutely normal the
shower enclosure is not watertight when
cleaning.
