Proper use
Torch neck of the required size and geometry complete the welding torch system ABIROB
Consumables and optional parts depending on the weld job have to be ordered separately. For
ordering information and identification numbers please consult the latest ordering catalogue.
NOTE! This product is not designed for use with high voltage wire touch sense. A shock hazard may
exist if used in this application! Please consult factory for products suitable for high voltage wire
sense applications.
Mainten-
The maintenance can be carried out by the operator himself following all safety instructions and
ance
provided that he has been trained to do so. For this purpose the torch has to be cleaned regularly
and there is a heavy build-up of spatter during every break in the welding process. Clean interface
and apply light coating of silicon-free grease to O-rings. Check parts subject to wear for visible signs
of damage and replace if necessary. Use a multi-purpose wrench to secure the wear parts. DO NOT
USE PLIERS!
Transport
The manufacturer has no influence on transportation and handling of the torch after it has left its
works. Prior to initial operation the torch has to be checked on the alignment jig and aligned, if
necessary.
