Maintenance

Warning!
Risk of crush injuries when performing mainte-
nance work on AEB .
Always use approved breathing protection when
the work involves a risk of exposure to dust .
Compressed air supply must be clean and dry.
Otherwise there is a large risk of downtime.
The following checks should be made at least once a
year:
-
Check the movement speed of the hatch when ope-
ning and closing. Adjust using the throttle nipples if
necessary. A high speed involves an increased risk.
-
Inspect the sealing strips (on the hatch). A high
vacuum also means that a small leakage whirls up
dust that has collected on the hatch. This results in
heavy wear on the filter hoses.
-
Some materials can cause a coating on the hatch,
this must be removed to prevent poor sealing.
-
Check the condition of the rubber cloth. A damaged
rubber cloth must be replaced as the cloth acts both
as a contact guard and a splash guard.
-
Check the function of the emergency stop.
-
Check the mounting on the dust collector, particular-
ly the toggle catches.
