2. FIRST POWER-UP

PACKAGE CONTENTS

When you open the LVX XM12 speaker package, ensure that all contents are present. The package contains:
• power supply cable with POWERCON® connector
• VIO W10
• quick start user manual and warranty documents
• fuse rated for operation in the 100-120V voltage range
ATTENTION!
The fuse installed at the factory is rated for operation in the 220-240 V
voltage range. If you need to operate the speaker in the 100-120 V range:
1. Disconnect all connections, including the power supply connection.
2. Wait 5 minutes.
3. Replace the fuse with the fuse rated for the 100-120 V range, which is included in the package.
4. Use only the supplied power supply cable.

INSTALLATION

MONITOR POSITIONING AND AUDIO CONNECTIONS

When positioning VIO W10, take into account the
working surface to be covered and the positioning and
characteristics of the microphones present (if necessary,
avoid any possible Larssen effect).
The cabling, as shown in the figure at the side - which is
only indicative - is facilitated by a recess underneath the
monitor, which facilitates a more discreet passage.
Always check that the necessary input sensitivity (MIC/
LINE) has been set.
For the intended usage characteristics, select the
necessary coverage presets. In case of dominant
conference (speech) use, HPF filters can be added to
the desired configuration, as described in the previous
chapter.
In case of audio link to a second monitor, set the input
impedance of the latter to LINE.
