Insert the foot straps (16) into both of the footrests passing them
through the widest part of the external slot (a) to the internal slot (b).
Illustration 10:
Fastening the footrests: fasten the footrests (14) by inserting them
in a position higher than its shaped seat, passing the widest part of
the foot strap through the slot on the leg of the child seat (fig. 10A).
Position the right footrest in the slot on the right of the seat and
vice versa. For each footrest, insert the adjusting pin (15) from the
outside of the seat towards the inside, making sure that the right
pin coincides with the right side and vice versa.
NOTE: both the pins, footrests and the sides of the child seat are
marked as follows: DX=right and SX=left.
Illustration 11:
Extracting the footrests: To extract the footrests, turn the adjusting
pin (15) upwards, move the footrest (14) upwards as far as possible,
open the foot strap and pull the adjusting pin lever outwards to free
the support.
Illustration 12:
Place the child seat on the bicycle carrier rack and block in place by
turning the handwheel (13) clockwise until the jaws are completely
closed (5,6). To unhook the seat from the rack, turn the handwheel
(13) anti-clockwise while pressing down the red lever (fig.12,A).
DANGER: Close the jaws firmly in place and check they remain tight
on a regular basis.
NOTE: Refer to the installation diagram (illustration 13) when fit-
ting the child seat on the carrier rack to make sure it is positioned
correctly. The barycentre symbol on the side of the seat must be
within a maximum distance of 10 cm with respect to the centre of
the wheel. We recommend fitting the child seat as close as possible
to the bicycle seat.
Illustration 14: Fix the fastening block safety strap to the bicycle
seat post, using the fastener to block the strap in place (ill.14, A).
WARNING: always use the safety strap!
WARNING: always use the strap fastener to prevent the excess

mechanical moving parts on the bicycle.
Use of the seat:
Illustrations 15-16:
