that the temperature is controlled by the thermostat and
is being maintained.
3.3.7. At the end of the frying time if the timer was
used the buzzer will sound and the power wil switch
off.
3.3.8. Open the lid carefully (Warning!) Hot steam may
be released!).
3.3.9. Remove the frying basket by hooking the basket
onto the enamel pot. Let the oil drip from the food
being fried.
3.3.10. In order to switch off the machine, please turn
the temperature regulator to OFF and remove the plug
from the socket. Wind the mains lead up in the form of
a spiral in the cable compartment.
3.4.1. Allow appliance to cool down.
3.5.2. Unplug the appliance from the mains power
supply.
3.6.3. Clean the appliance as described in the cleaning
section.
4. Cleaning
4.1. Make sure that the plug is pulled out.
4.2. Wait until the deep fryer is completely cool before
cleaning.
4.3. Unlock the frying fat vessel by pulling out the
control element upwards. Pour out the oil.
4.4. Clean the control element in the housing with a
damp cloth and household detergent if necessary. Do
not immerse in water.
4.5. The lid, frying basket and frying fat vessel can be
cleaned in the usual manner in soapy water.
4.6. Avoid using abrasive materials or sharp objects.
These may damage the deep fryer.
5. Anomalies and repair
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support centre
if product is damaged or other problems arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged,
it must be replaced and you should proceed as you
would in the case of damage.
6. Recommended frying tips:
6.1. Use a maximum quantity of 200 grams of French
fries per litre of oil.
6.2. With frozen products, use a maximum quantity
of 100 grams as the heat defrosts the food in a short

period of time. With frozen food, remove as much ice/
frost as possible before submerging it into the hot oil.
6.3. When using fries made from fresh potatoes: dry
the fries thoroughly to remove as much water content
as possible before submerging into the hot oil.
6.4. For frozen fries, deep-fry the fries in 2 stages. First
stage (pre-frying): 5 to 10 minutes at 170°C. Second
