3.2.4.7. Open Steam knob (15) anticlockwise
3.2.4.8. Steam only will begin to exit.
3.2.4.9. When you have enough, close the control (15)
and remove the recipient.
3.2.4.10. Milk can dry and block the nozzle, so it is
recommended to let off some steam after frothing milk
to clean out the nozzle.
4. Cleaning and Maintenance
4.1. GENERAL CLEANING
4.1.1. Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let
it cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
4.1.2. Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
4.1.3.Do not use solvents, or products with an acid
or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for
cleaning the appliance.
4.1.4. It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly
and remove any food remains.
4.1.5. If the appliance is not in good condition of
cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably af-
fect the duration of the appliance's useful life and could
become unsafe to use.
4.1.6. After washing, dry all the parts before fitting
them together for storing.
4.2. DESCALING
To ensure a long lifespan of the coffee maker, you will
need to de-scale it from time to time. Frequency will
depend on how hard the water is in your area, and how
often you use the coffee maker. If you use your coffee
maker once or twice a day, the following guidelines for
de-scaling should be used:
•Soft water, every 6 months.
•Medium water, every 2-3 months.
•Hard water, every 6-8 weeks.
If the time it takes to brew a cup of coffee is suddenly
increased, it is recommended that the coffee maker
be de-scaled. The harder the water is in your area, the
more often the coffee maker needs to be de-scaled.

5. Anomalies and repair
5.1. Take the appliance to an authorised support centre
if product is damaged or other problems arise.
5.2. If the connection to the mains has been damaged,
it must be replaced and you should proceed as you
would in the case of damage.
