PREPARATION
* Remove the rear bumper (if vehicle is fitted with one).
* Remove the bumper brackets.
ASSEMBLY
* Locate the existing holes at each side of the vehicle, which correspond to refs. A and B.
* Position the tabbed nuts C inside the longitudinals (in the holes marked A).
* 2-wheel drive models: position the tow bar under the vehicle and
fasten it in place using 3fastening kits A and B.
* 4-wheel drive models:position plates D and E under the vehicle thick shim washers
on the longitudinals' side) and fasten them in place using fastening kits A and B.
Fasten the tow bar onto plates D and E using fastening kit C.
* Post-2003 models (chrome bumpers): fasten the bumper and
the fog light as per diagram no. 1 opposite using fastening kit D.
FINISHING
* Tighten all of the nuts, bolts and screws to the torques indicated below.
* For vehicles fitted with a bumper, position supports F and G inside
the bumper then replace the bumper above the tow bar (fastening kit F).
