5. Technical features and requirements
1. Distance from the decoder to the telephone/monitor must always be less
than 100 m.
2. Maximum distance between last decoder, and Central Unit , without repeat-
ers, is 1.200 m.
3. Maximum number of decoders, without repeaters, is 120.
5. Wire section must be always equal or higher than the recommended (see table
on page 5). We strongly recommend you to install FERMAX MDS cables, wich
have been specially designed for the best perfomance of the system.
6. Use always Power Supply Ref.8840 for audio installations, and Power
Supply Ref. 8830 for video section.
5.1 Technical features
NOTICE:
E.L. means Equivalent Load. It is the consumption equivalent to one
ISODECODER in stand-by mode. Knowing which is the supported E.L. of
a power supply, you can know if it is enough for an specific installation.
E.L. supported by an 8840 Power Supply is 50.
