Cause
Incorrect posture.
The device is placed on
a soft surface such as
a carpet or on a rough
surface.
Your body is cold, which
results in poor blood flow.
Cold electrodes
Your hands or feet are too
dry.
The batteries have not
been installed.
Low battery.
You are wearing socks or
shoes while standing on
the scale.
Low battery.
Solution
Stand on the scale with bare
feet and remain in place.
Place the device on a hard,
smooth surface.
Warm your hands and feet to
restore good blood flow and
measure again.
Place the device in a warm
room for a time then measure
again.
Wipe your feet with a wet
cloth so that they are slightly
damp when you begin the
measurement.
Install the batteries.

batteries section)
Replace all 4 batteries.
Stand barefoot when being
measured, keeping full contact
with the electrodes.
Replace all 4 batteries.
