The headset boom features an In Use Indicator which, when used in
conjunction with the CA40 DECT Adapter, will flash to visually notify
your co-workers that you are talking on the telephone using a headset.
The boom also features a noise-cancelling microphone.
HEADSET ASSEMBLY: OVER-THE-HEAD
To identify headset components, please refer to the above
diagram key (1-14). For assembly instructions, please refer to
the diagrams A-F on page 3.

Attach the ear cushion to the receiver ensuring that the two
notches on the ear cushion align with the boom.

Insert the ball joint of the headband into the socket on the back
of the receiver.

Plug the 2.5mm connector into the headset port of the CA40
DECT Adapter.

Place the headband over the top of your head with the ear
cushion resting comfortably on your ear. The T-bar should be
positioned above your other ear. If necessary the length of the
headband can be adjusted. The headset can be worn with the
receiver on either ear – simply position the receiver on the
appropriate ear and rotate the boom into a suitable position.
