Fitting the LED lights
Remove any existing systems before fitting (cf. sec. 4.4).
⇒ Remove screws on the back of the Mobiloscope head.
⇒ Screw adapter plate with LED light fitting (1) onto Mobi-
loscope head with the screws provided (5).
⇒ Make sure that the connection cable is not caught be-
tween the lamps.
⇒ Plug the power supply connector (6) into the socket (4).
⇒ Fasten cable on the Mobiloscope arm using the ties
provided.
Make sure that the cable does not get caught when
the arm is moved and that the plug is not under
strain.

Electrical Connection
⇒ Plug the mains lead (9, Fig. 1) in the mains input (8, Fig. 1) on the mains adapter (7, Fig. 1).
⇒ Plug mains lead in socket.
4.4
Removal of existing Renfert systems
Lamp adapter (article nos. 2200-0501, -1501, -2501):
⇒ Pull out connector plug.
⇒ Undo fastening screws and remove lamp adapter.
The cable need not be removed but is not used for the LED light fitting.
Microscope light / cold light source (article nos. 2200-3000, -4000):
⇒ Undo knurled screw and pull microscope head up and out of retainer (difficult to remove).
⇒ Remove steel ring fastener with cold light source.
⇒ Refit microscope head and secure in place with knurled screw.
5. Operation
The On / Off button (3, Fig. 1) is used to switch the LED lights on and off and to change to the dimmer
function.
⇒ Press On / Off button repeatedly
♦ LED lights on, full strength
♦ LED lights on, dimmed
♦ LED lights off
The housing on the LED light fitting may become hot when in use.
Risk of injury on glass cover on LED lights!
Risk of injury from glass splinters if glass cover is damaged, e.g. from working with partitioning
screens.
6. Cleaning / Maintenance
Inside the appliance are no parts which require maintenance.
Opening the device, other than for the processes described below, is not permissible!
The LED light fitting needs no maintenance.
If necessary, wipe the LED light fitting with a slightly damp cloth.
Switch the LED light fitting off and allow to cool before cleaning the housing!
Do not use solvent-based cleaners.

are marked on the spare part list.
Serial numbers, manufacture date and device type can be found on the device identification plate.
