CARE
When dirty the boots are best cleaned under running
water using a sponge. High-pressure washing is not
recommended. Never clean the boots with strong
cleaning agents or solvents, as these could weaken the
materials or affect the colour and finish of the plastic.
After washing, use a cloth to wipe away any surface
water and then place the boots on their sides to dry
naturally. This helps to keep the top of the boot from
compressing the ankle area of the boots. If the boot has
an inner bootie, this must be removed and allowed to dry
properly. Do not attempt to dry the boots using a direct
heat source such as a fireplace or a radiator as this will
cause the leather to become stiff.
STORAGE
Between rides, keep the boots closed properly to better
maintain their shape. Always store your boots in a well-
ventilated area. Do not store your boots in humid areas
such as cellars or in non-breathable containers such as
plastic bags, this promotes the growth of mould which,
as well as the foul smell, can also damage the boots over
time. Thus if you plan to store your boots for an extended
