This bed assist rail is designed for use on a bed
with a box spring and mattress.
1. Remove contents from carton.
2. Remove mattress from bed.
3. Attach the end cross brace to the base
support frame. Replace the both locking
collars. Be sure the locking pins go through
the tubing and protrudes on the opposite
side.
4. Attach the padded hand brace to the base
support frame by depressing the brass lock
pins and sliding the padded hand brace into
the tubing until the lock pins "snap" through
the positioning holes.
5. Place assembled base support frame on top
of the box spring.
6. Locate a convenient distance from the head
of the bed to position the bed assist rail.
7. Return mattress to bed.
8. After the bed rail in installed on the bed,
remove the locking collars. Once removed,
pull up or push down from the top of the
handle to the desired height. Once the
desired height is determined, making sure
both holes line up, replace the both locking
collars. Be sure the locking pins go through
the tubing and protrudes on the opposite
side.
