BACKLIGHT
The backlight can be activated at any time using the backlight button (8). To deactivate the backlight,
press the backlight again. It is important to understand that the backlight needs a lot of battery power;
so it should be used only when it is strictly necessary.
PRINTING
The print button (7) can be pressed at any time. It will only send the test result to the printer if you are
in the right programme. A printer icon is shown on the display while the tester is sending the data to
the printer (only BETA 1498 ST/W).
SHUTTING DOWN PRESSURE TESTER
To power off the tester, you should press the "OFF" button. The tester will save the needed data and
show the following message, and then it will be turned off.
PRESSURE RELEASE
It is very important to release the pressure before the connectors are disconnected; if you
disconnect the adaptors when a high pressure is applied, injury may happen.
