SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
ALL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS SHOULD
BE STRICTLY FOLLOWED.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of accidents:
- Only use this device for its intended purpose, as described in this manual.
- Before using Pearl, ensure that the skin to be treated is clean and dry and free from creams
and oils.
- Do not use Pearl on the genitals, breasts or around the eyes.
- If you are pregnant, please consult your practitioner before using Pearl.
- Do not use Pearl on sunburned skin, open wounds, blisters or scars.
- If you have any skin condition other than those listed above, please consult your practitio-
ner before using Pearl.
- If used correctly, Pearl should not cause any skin irritation. Nevertheless, it may cause irri-
tation when used on sensitive skin. If this occurs, apply calming lotion after each treatment.
- Using Pearl on one area for too long may increase the possibility of skin irritation. If the
unwanted hair has not been removed with three or four passes, wait for a few minutes befo-
re trying again on the same area.
WARNINGS - To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock and injury:
- Do not place or store the device near a bath or sink.
- Do not place the device in or near water or other liquids.
- Do not attempt to touch a device that has fallen into water if it is plugged in and charging.
- This device must never be left unattended while plugged in.
- Do not use the head if the wire is twisted or damaged.
- Do not attempt to touch the wire inside the head. The plastic teeth of the head are desig-
ned to protect your skin during normal use but direct contact with the wire may cause injury.
- Switch off the device when changing the head.
- This device should only be used with the original charger supplied.
- Never use the charger if the cable or plug are damaged.
- Do not use Pearl near flammable objects.
- Always unplug the device straight after use and before cleaning or carrying out mainte-
nance.
- Do not open the main unit. This may damage the device and void the warranty.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not use the device on pets.
- Do not attempt to repair Pearl if it becomes damaged. The product should be replaced by
the manufacturer or distributor in your country.
