Instruction how to mount
the regulator
The reducers are exclusively
intended for the use with CO
N
- or mixed gas.
2
The gases must accord with the
requirements of the beverage
industry.
1. The gas cylinder must be
protected against toppling
down.
2. Before connecting the reducer,
open the gas cylinder valve
shortly for removing possibly
existing dirt particles and
ensuring the gas discharge.
3. Control if the seal on the inlet
connection of the reducer is
mounted and if the sealing
surface of the gas cylinder
valve is not damaged.
4. With a wrench the reducer
must be mounted on the gas
cylinder valve in a way that
the outlet of the reducer is
adjusted downward.
Recommended mounting
torque: 30Nm. Important, do
not overtighten!
5. Turn the adjusting screw of the
reducer counterclockwise as
far as it will go (zero setting)
and close the shut off valve (if
existing).
6. Connect the low pressure
gas pipe to the outlet of the
reducer and control if all
components of the gas pipe
are connected safely.
7. Open the gas cylinder valve
-,
and control the indicated inlet
2
pressure on the high pressure
gauge.
8. Open the shut off valve (if
existing).
9. Adjust the requested working
pressure with the adjusting
screw (turn clockwise) and
test the working pressure gas
pipe for leaks.
Adjusting pressure/increasing
pressure
10. Turn the adjusting screw
clockwise until the requested
pressure.
11. To change from a higher
pressure e.g. 2 bar to 1.5
bar one has to reduce the
pressure to 1 bar first. Then
adjust the requested pressure
of 1.5 bar.
The reducer is ready for use.
