As mentioned at the start this camera is optimized for video recording. The photo function allows for
similar menu settings as the video function. Due to the optimization on video performance the photo
resolution is limited to the native sensor size of 1.3 MP. If a resolution of 3 MP or 5 MP is chosen this
is an interpolated resolution only and will not significantly enhance the actual photo resolution.
