ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please read these safety instructions before use and
keep them in a safe place.
! - This symbol indicates the risk of injury or damage
to the device.
! Read the entire manual before using the device for
the first time.
! Do not look directly into the laser beam, no matter
what force the beam is set to. Adhering to this rule
will allow you to avoid any negative consequences in
the future.
! The laser beam should only point horizontally at
a level much lower than the height of its user. This
will prevent unwanted eye contact with the beam.
In addition, the user should not lean forward to see
the beam. The beam should be reflected on a matte
surface with an adequately low reflection coefficient.
! No random reflective objects must get in the way
of the laser beam. Remember: reflections from the
surface of watches, rings and other jewelry can be
similarly harmful.
! Do not attempt to alter the laser power in any way,
otherwise there is an increased risk of exposure to
the beam. Only turn on the laser when you really
want to use it. Never look directly into the laser beam.
Keep the laser distance meter in a safe place to pre-
vent it from being used by unqualified persons.
! Observing a beam of light reflected from surfaces
that act as a mirror (optical prisms, liquids, metal
objects) with a telescope or other optical instrument
can damage your eyesight.
! It must not be left unattended when the laser device
is switched on. If you need to leave the laser device
for a while, masking the beam may be a good solu-
tion.
! It is difficult to anticipate everything that could
happen. Please remember that many people have
lost their sight due to their negligence and someti-
mes just by accident. The most important thing is to
be aware of the possible consequences and to use
common sense.
! Aiming the laser beam at people or at hazardous (eg
flammable or reactive) materials is prohibited.
! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, follow
basic safety precautions when using electrical appli-
ances and equipment, especially in the presence of
children.
! Do not use the product for purposes other than
those for which the product is intended.
! Do not use electrical appliances when bathing or
showering.
! Do not shine on anyone intentionally in the dark.
! Do not use the product near heat sources (heating,
open flame).
! Do not shine on objects with a high-gloss surface.
! Do not leave the product in places that are easily
accessible to children.
! Do not repair the device without permission. If the
device is damaged, contact your local dealer.
! Do not use the device in a flammable or explosive
environment.
! Do not use your device near medical equipment. Do
not use them on board aircraft.
! Always remove the batteries if you intend to leave
the device unattended or before cleaning.
! Clean the device with anti-corrosion cleaners.
! This device is not a toy; do not allow children to play
with it.
! Protect the device from contact with water or other
liquids.
! Warning! Do not look at the LED bulb when the devi-
ce is switched on. The light produced by the LED bulb
can destroy or irritate your eyes. Do not look directly
at the light source with any optical devices that focus
the light beam.
- Use protective equipment against noise, dust and
vibration !!!
