Determine placement of helm station.
�MporTAnT! Check that there is sufficient room for
both the control unit (A) and connector on the rear
of the panel. Please refer to figure 5.
The instrument panel may be max 15 mm thick.
Mount the IPS control unit (A) according to the in-
stallation instructions supplied with the control unit
(A).

Mark and drill and cut the hole for the steering unit
(A). A full size template is located in the back of this
installation instruction.

�MporTAnT! The sealing ring, shaft and hole must
be clean. The connector's shaft hole must be lubri-
cated with a thin coat of grease/oil. The sealing ring
must not be crooked when pressed in. The sealing
ring shall be at right angles to the shaft and with the
correct side up.

Mount the sealing ring (2) with the flat side inwards
(contact surface with bottom) towards the connec-
tor (1) as follows: Place the sealing ring over the
connector's shaft hole. Please refer to figure 2
Press the sealing ring in by hand first, as in fig 2,
until the sealing ring's rear side is level with connec-
tor (1).
The simplest method, and to secure that the sealing
ring has reached the end position in the connector,
is to use the wheel hub (7) as a drift. Please refer to
figure 3.

the wheel hub and press carefully down until the
sealing ring has reached end position in the con-
nector. Please refer to figure 3.
noT�! The wheel hub should be placed on a flat
surface without the Woodruff key.

4.
Mount the connector (1) against the instrument
panel with screws (3), washers (4) and nuts (5) ac-
cording to fig 1. T��h������ ���q�� 25±3 n�.

Mount the control unit (A) with screws (6) according
to fig 1. T��h������ ���q�� 25±3 n�.
��p������! The control unit shall be mounted so
that the minimum permitted bending radius of the
signal cable is 80 mm. (B)
Please refer to fig 5, and the installation instructions
supplied with the control unit (A).
The control unit shall be supported securely during
installation.
The screws must be clean from grease and oil.

6.
Turn the shaft of the control unit (A) until the shaft
groove on the end surface is as illustrated in fig 1.
Place the wheel hub (7) over the shaft of the control
unit (A). Turn the wheel hub as required to accom-
modate pin (9). Lightly tap the pin (9) using a suit-
able drift so that it is mounted symmetrically. Con-
clude installation by mounting and tightening the
screws (10) alternately.

WArn�ng! Important that the fixing is tight-
ened correctly.
7.
Insert the woodruff key (8) in the keyway in the
wheel hub shaft. Fit the wheel with washer (11) and
nut (12) as in fig. 4.
