OPERATION INSTRUCTION
1.
Connect power cord to appropiate power source. Turn on the on/off switch to begin the warm-up process.
2.
When the laminator reaches laminating temperature, the indicator LED becomes green.
3.
Center the item to be laminated into a laminating pouch (Figure 2), so that the borders are even on all the sides. The
suggested margin between the content and the sealed edge is no larger than 3 mm; the suggested margin in the left,
right, and the open end is larger than 3 mm (Figure 3).
4.
Insert the pouch with the item, sealed-edge first, straight into the laminator inlet (Figure 4). Hold the pouch until the
machine moves it forward.
5.
The laminated item will automatically exit the outlet of the pouch laminator. After the pouch has stopped moving, the
pouch can be removed (Figure 5).
6.
If you finish the laminating, move the switch to ʻoffʼ position.
2.
PRECAUTION
1.
If the laminator is turned on and has not been used for more than an hour, excessive heat may have created in the
machine. To avoid overheating and its consequent inferior laminating result, insert a piece of A3 copy paper into the
machine to remove the excessive heat before your formal laminating.
2.
As soon as the lamination of the picture is finished, remove the laminated picture immediately to prevent the pouch from
curling due to overheating.
3.
If white spots appear on the laminated pictures, it means the temperature is not high enough. Turn the front end behind
and insert the picture into the machine to laminate one more time.
4.
The picture has to be laminated on both sides. One side lamination is prohibited to prevent film from being rolled into the
machine.
5.
DO NOT insert the open end of the pouch into the machine to prevent it from being rolled into the machine (Figure 6).
6.
There are vent holes in the bottom of the laminators. Make sure the holes are not fully covered when the machine is
operated to avoid overheating.
7.
When the laminator is jammed with the media or pouch, please push the button of ʻ reverseʼ to roll out the jammed item.
3.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
If the pouch is rolled into the laminator or break down, send your machine to the agents for repairing. DO NOT open the
housing of the machine.
2.
Unplug the machine while it is being wiped. Do not wipe the machine by using a wet cloth.
3.
The roller heater is fragile. DO NOT DROP or impact the machine.
4.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARD
1.
The unit is intended for indoor use only.
2.
Do not drop the machine or put any object on top of it to avoid the housing to breake. If it happens, unplug the laminator.
3.
The pouch laminator must be connected to a supply voltage corresponding to the electrical rating of the machine as
indicated.
4.
Children have to be attended by adults while using the machine; to protect the children from being burnt of shocked.
5.
If the laminator smells burning, unplug the machine immediately and contact the service representative.
6.
Unplug the laminator before it is moved, or when it is not in use for an extended period of time. When using the laminator
for an extended time, turn off the machine for an hour for every other eight hours.
7.
Do not place the machine near a generating object like furnaces or radiators.
8.
The machine and the power cord should be away from water to avoid electrical shock.
9.
Place unit on a secure, stable area to prevent the machine falling and possibly causing personal injury and damage to the
unit.
10. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its Service Agent or similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.

MODE DʼEMPLOI
1.
Insérez le cordon dʼalimentation dans une prise appropriée.
Mettez le commutateur de marche/arrêt sur ON pour lancer le processus de chauffe.
2.
Quand la plastifieuse a atteint sa température de plastification, le témoin lumineux (LED) émet une lumière verte.
3.
Centrez la représentation à plastifier dans une poche de plastification (figure 2) de façon à ce que les bordures soient
égales sur tous les côtés. La marge suggérée entre le contenu et le bord scellé est de maximum 3 mm ; la marge
suggérée du côté droit et gauche et du côté ouvert est de plus de 3 mm (figure 3).
4.
Insérez la poche contenant la représentation, avec le bord scellé en premier, directement dans lʼentrée de la plastifieuse
(figure 4). Tenez la poche jusquʼà ce quʼelle soit entraînée par la machine.
5.
La représentation plastifiée sort automatiquement de la plastifieuse. Lorsque la poche ne bouge plus, celle-ci peut être
retirée (figure 5).
6.
Si vous avez terminé la plastification, mettez le commutateur en position OFF.
2.
PRECAUTIONS
1.
Si la plastifieuse est allumée et quʼelle nʼa pas été utilisée pendant plus dʼune heure, de la chaleur peut sʼêtre accumulée
dans la machine. Pour éviter la surchauffe et la baisse de qualité de plastification qui sʼensuit, insérez une feuille A3 dans
la machine pour évacuer la chaleur excédentaire avant la plastification proprement dite.
2.
Dès que la plastification de la représentation est terminée, retirez immédiatement la représentation plastifiée pour éviter
que la poche ne se recourbe sous lʼeffet de la chaleur.
3.
Si des taches blanches apparaissent sur les représentations plastifiées, cela signifie que la température nʼest pas
suffisamment élevée. Inversez le sens de la représentation et insérez-la dans la machine pour la plastifier encore une
fois.
4.
La représentation doit être laminée sur les deux faces.
Il est interdit de plastifier une seule face pour éviter que la pellicule ne sʼenroule dans la machine.
5.
Nʼinsérez PAS le bord ouvert de la poche en premier dans la machine pour éviter quʼelle ne sʼenroule dans la machine.
6.
Des orifices de ventilation se trouvent au fond de la plastifieuse. Pour éviter toute surchauffe, assurez-vous que ces
orifices ne sont pas entièrement recouverts.
7.
En cas de bourrage de support ou de poche dans la plastifieuse, appuyez sur la touche « reverse » pour extraire la cause
du bourrage.
3.
SOINS ET ENTRETIEN
1.
Si la poche est enroulée dans la machine ou en cas de panne, confiez votre appareil à votre revendeur pour réparation.
Nʼessayez PAS dʼouvrir le boîtier de lʼappareil.
2.
Retirez le cordon dʼalimentation de la prise quand vous essuyez la machine. Nʼessuyez pas la machine avec un chiffon
humide.
4.
AVERTISSEMENTS IMPORTANTS
1.
Lʼappareil est uniquement destiné à un usage intérieur.
2.
Ne laissez pas tomber lʼappareil et ne posez rien sur lʼappareil pour éviter que le boîtier ne se casse. Si le boîtier est
cassé, débranchez la plastifieuse.
3.
La plastifieuse doit être raccordée à une alimentation correspondant aux caractéristiques électriques de lʼappareil, telles
quʼindiquées.
4.
Pour éviter les risques de brûlure ou de choc électrique, les enfants ne peuvent utiliser lʼappareil que sous la protection
dʼun adulte.
5.
Si la plastifieuse dégage une odeur de brûlure, débranchez immédiatement lʼappareil et contactez un représentant
responsable du service.
6.
Débranchez la plastifieuse avant de la déplacer ou lorsquʼelle nʼest pas utilisée pendant une durée prolongée. Lorsque
la plastifieuse est utilisée pendant une période prolongée, éteignez la machine pendant une heure environ toutes les huit
heures.
7.
Ne placez pas lʼappareil à proximité dʼun objet générant de la chaleur (four, radiateur).
8.
Lʼappareil et le cordon dʼalimentation doivent être tenus à lʼécart dʼeau pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique.
9.
Placez lʼappareil en un endroit sûr et stable pour éviter que lʼappareil ne tombe et ne puisse être endommagé ou
provoquer des blessures.
10. Si le cordon dʼalimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabricant ou par son agent responsable du service
ou par toute autre personne ayant la même qualification afin dʼéviter tout danger.
