o) CERAMIC BRIQUETTES
- Briquettes should be replaced when they become heavily
GB
coated in grease. This will only happen after they have
been used many times. Briquettes should be changed
more frequently when fatty meat is cooked or when meat
and fish are cooked alternately.
- Use replacement briquettes from CAMPINGAZ
cannot accept responsibility should other briquettes be
used.
- Place the briquettes on the grid in one layer. Leave 1 to 2
cm between each row of briquettes. We recommend 4
rows of 9 briquettes."
p) LID GLASS
Avoid thermal shocks (cold water on hot glass)
q) COOKING METHODS
Your barbecue has been specially designed to allow easy
and comfortable cooking while maintaining that special
flavor that comes only from barbecue cooking.
Thanks to your barbecue, you can cook fatty meats
(sausage, merguez, chicken thighs, etc.) without having to
worry about sudden bursts of flames.
In addition, your barbecue is adapted for rotisserie (sold
separately) cooking that gives fast and crisp results.
During cooking, grease will drop onto the briquettes. Upon
contact, the water contained in fats evaporates and adds
flavor to meat.
NB: To keep meat from sticking to the grill, simply coat the
grill with a bit of cooking oil or rub it with an oily paper
towel. Do not put anything on a cold grill. Delicate foods
that might stick should be placed on a piece of aluminum
foil.
1- Rotisserie cooking: (sold separately)
You can cook regularly-shaped pieces of meat and fowls
using the rotisserie. Skewer meat in the middle before
attaching it to the two prongs designed to hold the meat.
Remember to carefully tie fowls before skewering them.
To cook on the rotisserie, remove the cooking rack and
place the briquettes so that they do not come into contact
with the meat to be cooked. The briquettes can also be
removed and a foil dish used to catch the cooking juices.
2 - Grill cooking - hood open or closed
Put the meat to be grilled directly on the cooking grill.
Turn the meat over and move it around to brown it
according to personal taste.
Closing the hood increases heat and allows faster
cooking. However, to avoid burning meat to a crisp, we
recommend that you keep an eye on cooking and, if
necessary, put the adjustment control knob on low.

3 - Oven cooking - hood closed
You can also use your barbecue to cook gratins, pizzas,
soufflés, etc. On high position, your oven is very hot. We
thus recommend adjusting oven temperature according
to the dish to be cooked.
4- Papillote cooking
Carefully wrap the item to be grilled in aluminum foil to
avoid loss of juices. This method is especially indicated
for fish, vegetables, potatoes, etc.
NEVER COVER THE ENTIRE COOKING GRILL WITH
ALUMINUM FOIL.
r) ACCESSORIES
"APPLICATION DES GAZ" advises that its gas
barbecues should systematically be used with
accessories and replacement parts from Campingaz.
"APPLICATION DES GAZ" accepts no responsibility
for any damage or malfunction due to the use of
accessories and/or replacement parts from other

s) PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT

contains materials which can be recovered or recycled.
Hand them in to the waste collection service in your
municipality and sort the packing materials.
