Remove the fascia door – Return to owner.

If Equipped with Integrated Rear Fascia Exhaust Outlets, Remove Rear Fascia (If not, skip to step 3) – On each side, remove (5) screws inside wheel well toward rear and (1) screw on bottom of fascia

near wheel well. Using fascia removing tools, remove rear side of wheel well trim. Remove (1) bolt in corner of rear fascia over wheel well behind wheel well trim, shown in Figure 2. Under vehicle,
remove (1) plastic rivet on inside of rear fascia toward center of vehicle. Open tailgate, remove (2) bolts and (1) screw along tailgate seal below tail lights. Using fascia removing tools, carefully remove
rear fascia starting from (1) wheel well and working around to the other.
Lower Exhausts – Detach the rubber exhaust hangers and lower the rearward portion of the exhaust ((2) on single exhaust or (4) on dual exhaust). Support Exhaust to Prevent Damage.

Raise Hitch into Position – Over the exhaust pipes, aligning the slots in the hitch with the weldnuts in the bottom of the frame rails.

Install Side Fasteners – Loosely install the M12 bolts and 1/2" conical washers in existing weldnuts in frame on each end of Hitch.

Install Central Fasteners – Install fasteners in central receiver bracket. Sandwich (1) spacer for each hole between the bracket and bumper as shown in Figure 1.

With Bumper Weldnuts – (2) M12 bolts and (2) 1/2" conical washers

Without Bumper Weldnuts – (2) 1/2" bolts, (2) conical washers and (2) handle nuts.

Tighten all M12 CL10.9 fasteners with torque wrench to 92 ft-lbs (125 N-m) & Tighten all 1/2-13 GR 5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 ft-lbs (68 N-m).
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
Raise Exhaust – Raise the rearward portion of the exhaust back into position and attach the rubber exhaust hangers ((2) on single exhaust or (4) on dual exhaust).

If Equipped with Integrated Rear Fascia Exhaust Outlets – Refer to Step 2 fascia removal & reverse the process to install rear fascia.

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or
ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
