NOTE: Dodge shown, Chrysler similar.
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the tail lamp retainers (1).
3. Disconnect the tail lamp electrical connector (2) and
remove the tail lamp (3).
NOTE: The trailer tow harness is labeled with "RIGHT"
AND "LEFT" near the tail lamp and body connector.
During installing verify that the correct end is being
routed to the tail lamp.
4. Lay the harness out on the floor with the wires with
the eyelets and fuse holder towards the front of the
vehicle.
5. Route the harness through the rear fascia supports la­
beled with RIGHT starting from the drivers side.
NOTE: Driver side shown, passenger side similar.
6. Route the drivers side trailer harness up between the
fascia and bumper up to the tail lamp opening.
7. Route the passenger side trailer harness up between
the fascia and bumper up to the tail lamp opening.
