Maintenance
Your Elu machine has been designed to operate over a long period of time
with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation
depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
Lubrication (fig. N)
The motor and bearings require no additional lubrication. If raising and
lowering the blade becomes difficult, clean and grease the height
adjustment screws:
• Turn the saw on its side.
• Clean and grease the height adjustment threads as shown in fig. N.
Use general purpose grease.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots clear and regularly clean the housing with a
soft cloth.
• Regularly clean the dust collection system.
• Turn the saw on its side.
• Remove the screws (44) (fig. O).
• Remove all dust and resecure the access door (45) using the screws
(fig. O).
Unwanted tools and the environment
Take your tool to an Elu authorized repair agent where it will be disposed
of in an environmentally safe way.

All Elu products are thoroughly tested before leaving the factory.
However, if the product needs repair, please contact your dealer or the Elu
Head Office for the address of the nearest Elu authorized repair agent
(please refer to the back of this manual).

• ONE YEAR FULL WARRANTY •
If your Elu product becomes defective due to faulty materials or
workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase,
we guarantee to replace all defective parts free of charge or, at our
discretion, replace the unit free of charge provided that:
• The product has not been misused.
• Repairs have not been attempted by unauthorized persons.
• Proof of purchase date is provided.
This guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and is additional to
consumers statutory rights.
