Pulsar CT must be placed on its base when
used.
Do not place it near sources of heat. Never
use Pulsar CT at an ambient temperature of
more than 40°C.
Do not obstruct the ventilation apertures.
Place the utility power cable as far away as
possible from the load cables in order to
minimise interference.
When Pulsar CT is energised, a strong but
short inrush current is created (15 In for
10 ms).
This current must nevertheless be taken into
account if you choose to install an upstream
protection fuse (slow fuse blowing or thermal
circuit-breaker).
Ratings to provide:
c c c c c Pulsar CT 3: 4A,
c c c c c Pulsar CT 6: 6A,
c c c c c Pulsar CT 12: 12A.

Before carrying out any operations, check
that your utility power is compatible with the
values given on the identification plate
on the rear panel of Pulsar CT.
Check that the total power of the
equipments to be connected to the load
receptacles 2 does not exceed Pulsar CT
power.
Check that the utility power receptacle is
equipped with an earthing pin.
Important : Pulsar CT's utility power
receptacle must be installed near
Pulsar CT and be easily accessible.
Connect Pulsar CT to the utility power using
the lead 4 . As soon as the lead is plugged
in, the output voltage is available on the rear
receptacles 2 of Pulsar CT (there is no
On/Off switch).
Connect the equipments to the load
receptacles 2 . The lead to be used for
equipment connection is of the 3 conductors
type (phase, neutral, earth) with a minimum

cross-section of 1.5 mm
(Cu) and a
maximum length of 25 m.
Note: a certain rise in temperature of
Pulsar CT's protective cover is quite normal
during operation.

stopping Pulsar CT
Pulsar CT is stopped by unplugging the
utility power connection lead 4 .
