8. Remove left side instrument panel trim plate.
9. Remove headlamp switch from left side trim plate.
10. Locate the DIC switch wiring connector by follow the
headlamp switch wiring branch into the instrument panel.
11. Add headlamp switch into new DIC trim plate.
12. Add DIC switch into new DIC trim plate.
13. Connect the DIC wiring connector into DIC switch.
14. Press left side trim plate back into instrument panel ensur-
ing all 6 retainer clips are engaged. Figure 5.
NOTE: Be careful not to scratch the surface of the trim
plate against the turn signal switch.

15. Install the lower driver's side knee bolster assembly panel.

17. Install park release handle to knee bolster assembly.
