Dimensions:
A - max travel 300
B - max travel 180
The actuator must be installed when the window is closed.
4
INSTALLATION
A - Mark the centre line on the window.
B - Fix the block to the window using screws suitable for the
material the window is made of. Fix the actuator support
bracket and the fixing device to the window so that they
are in line. Their height must be adjusted so that the
actuator is perpendicular to the window. Tighten the
screws.
Ensure that the actuator reaches the limit switch triggering
positions correctly and with no obstacles.
N.B. The actuator is supplied with the limit switch in the
closing position, with the window closed.

Maintenance and cleaning
At regular intervals (every year), check that the hinges are in
good condition, check that the operator is secure on the window
and check the general state of the window. If any parts are worn,
change them.
At least every 12 months, test the product to ensure the system is
functioning correctly; for special systems, this should be done at
least every 6 months.
NB: Cleaning and maintenance operations must be carried out by
trained, authorized staff. The device must be in the safe stop
condition, disconnected from all power sources.
Do not perform maintenance and cleaning unless there is
adequate lighting.
All maintenance and cleaning must be performed with the device
stopped and not powered.
Clean the external surfaces of the machine's component
equipment regularly to prevent the accumulation of dust deposits;
5 mm is the recommended limit. Remember that the maximum
permitted dust layer depends on the device's maximum rated
surface temperature, the type of dust and ambient conditions. The
user is responsible for establishing a maintenance plan including
dust removal.
The following personal protection equipment must be worn during
work and maintenance: Protective goggles, gloves.
Dismantling and disposal
Before dismantling the device, check the regulations in force
with regard to:
Obligation to record disposal and/or notify controlling bodies.
How to protect the environment.
Directives governing the resale of devices.
Occupational health and safety directives.
When dismantling and removing the device, comply with the
procedures listed below:
a. Disconnect the device from the power sources.
b. Before starting dismantling procedures, a sufficiently large, tidy
space must be created around the device to allow all necessary
movements to be carried out without any risks arising from the
surrounding environment.
During dismantling, it is essential to assess the RESIDUAL RISKS
listed below and others which cannot be foreseen at origin:
CRUSHING between handled or dismantled parts
CUTTING by sharp edges or unprotected metal parts
ABRASIONS / BURNS due to contact with rough parts or
chemicals.
Use of the specified personal protection equipment is therefore
COMPULSORY during dismantling.
The materials which make up the device are not hazardous and
basically consist of:
steel;
electric components.
The ferrous materials and steel of which the system's structure
consists can be recycled.
Dispose of materials through AUTHORIZED ORGANIZATIONS in
full compliance with the relevant waste disposal regulations in
the country of disposal.
