To reduce exposure to these substances:
■
Ensure adequate ventilation of the workspace and wear suitable protective equipment,
e.g. respiratory masks, which are designed to filter out microscopic particles.
■
Observe the applicable regulations for the respective material, personnel, application and
location of use (e.g. work safety regulations, disposal).
■
Collect the resulting particles at the point of origin, avoid deposits in the environment.
■
Use suitable accessories for special tasks (see chapter 7). This reduces the uncontrolled
release of particles into the environment.
■
Use a suitable dust extraction unit.
Reduce dust exposure by:
■
not directing the resulting particles and the exhaust air steam of the machine towards
yourself, persons in your proximity or any deposited dust,
■
using an extraction unit and/or an air purifier,
■
ensuring adequate ventilation and regular vacuum cleaning of the workplace. Sweeping or
blowing swirls up dust into the air.
■
Wash or vacuum protective clothing. Do not hit or brush clothing.
7. Accessories:
Only use genuine accessories. Do not use accessories that do not meet the requirements
and specifications outlined in these operating instructions.
