SECURITY MEASURES
CLOTHING
- Do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewelry which may
get caught in moving parts.
- Hearing protective devices must be worn when using a
parts.
WORKPLACE
- Keep the workplace and surroundings clean.
- Kept spectators, especially children, away from the working
area..
- Avoid using the machine in a wet area.
- If the use of a tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a
supply protected by a residual current device (DRC).
CABLE AND PLUG
- Never pull on the wire to unplug the machine from a wall
outlet.
- Avoid any contact by the cable with oil, grease or rough
surfaces.
- Disconnect your machine: when they are not in use, before
any maintenance, and for changing accessories such as
shanks, bits and blades...
POWER
- Plug this machine into a domestic socket.
Insure that the power source corresponds to that indicated
on the manufacturer's data plate.
- Check hoses, hydraulic lines and shutdown devices if your
machine is equipped.
Stop the machine immediately in the case of:
- Defective plug or electrical cord or if the cord is damaged.
- Defective switch.
- Excessive amount of sparks from the brushes in the com-
mutator, if the motor have brushes.
- Smoke or strong odour caused by burning insulation
materials.
WIRE SECTION
- Check the relationship between the length of the cable
and wire section. Not enough section causes voltage to be
reduced, which later provokes problems with the engine.
Respect the following indications:
- Cable length up to 15 m: 1.5 mm
- Cable length from 15 m to 40 m: 2.5 mm
SERVICING

damp cloth.
- Grease moving parts periodically.
- Do not use caustic agents to clean plastic.
- All defective parts must be replaced by the manufacturer's
after sale service.

1) Keep your work space clean
A cluttered work space and/or workbench is a source of
injury.
2) Be aware of your work space
Do not expose the machine to rain. Do not use the machine
in moist areas.
Keep the work space well lit. Do not use this machine in
areas where there may be a risk of fire or explosion.
3) Protect yourself against electrical shock
Avoid bodily contact with surfaces which are grounded
(for example plumbing, radiators, counter top cooking ele-
ments,
refrigerators).
4) Keep children at distance
Do not let spectators touch the machine or its power cord or
even the extension cord. It is recommended that all
spectators be kept away from the working space.
5) Put machines away when not in use.
When the machines are not being used, they should be kept
in dry places out of reach of children, either on high
shelves or under lock and key.
Do not leave the machine unattended when in operation.
6) Do not force the machine
The machine will perform better and more safely when used
in the tasks for which it was designed.
7) Use the right machine
Do not use lightweight machines or accessories to do work
normally done with heavier machines. Do not use
machines for jobs they were not designed for; for example,
do not use a circular saw to cut logs or branches.
8) Dress appropriately
Do not wear loose fitting clothing or jewellery which may
become caught up in moving parts. Rubber gloves and
non-slip shoes are recommended for outside work. Wear
protective head gear to control long hair.
9) Use protective eyewear
Also, use a dust mask in cutting operations which produce
dust.
10) Attach dust evacuation equipment
If there is provision for attaching dust collection and remo-
val equipment, insure that this is attached and used
correctly.
11) Do not damage the electrical cord
Never carry a power machine by its electrical cord and do
not pull on the cord to unplug it.
Keep the cord away from heat sources, grease and cutting
edges.
12) Steady the work piece
Use clamps or a vise to steady the work piece. This is safer
than holding it in your hand.
13) Do not over estimate your strength
Always maintain a stable position and good balance.
14) Look after your machine carefully
Keep your tools sharp and clean for better performance and
safe usage.
Follow instructions for lubricating and for changing acces-
sories. Periodically check the electrical cord and if it
is damaged have it changed by an authorised professional.
Periodically check the electrical extension cords and
replace if damaged. Keep handles dry, clean and free of
grease and oil.
15) Disconnect your machine
When they are not in use, before any maintenance, and for
changing accessories such as shanks, bits and blades.
16) Remove adjusting keys
Get into the habit of insuring that adjustment keys are
removed from the machine before operating it.
17) Avoid abnormal starts
Do not connect the machine to the power source with you
finger on the switch.
Be sure that the switch is in the off position before plugging
the machine in.
18)Use outdoor extension leads:
When tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords inten-
ded for outdoor
