1. Description
The keypad module provides entry control after keying in a
personal code for the speech units of the 41000 series.

2. Features
• The module must be installed in conjunction with the A/V
module.
• The device has:
1) A pair of terminals for an AC input (configurable via
SaveProg)
2) A pair of terminals for a N/O input (C – NO)
• Power supply from Audio Video or Audio module via har-
ness.
• Current draw: 90 mA (from Audio Video or Audio module).
• Operating temperature: -25 °C / +55°C.
• Protection class: IP54
• IK08-rated for protection against impact (Pixel)
3. Entry control mode (CA)
The device enables activating a programmed command (e.g.,
lock opening, relay.. ) by entering a preconfigured code.
3.1. Operation
The keypad has 2 function keys referred to here as:

Press the K button to go into "Code Entry" mode.

module, pressing button C takes you out
of "Code Entry" mode.
Press button K to confirm and validate the entered code.
In brief:
a. Pressing the
button (Key), (enters code entry mode)
b. Pressing the digit buttons (entering the personal code)
c. Pressing the
button (Key), (confirms the code en-
tered)
d. Feedback for valid code and actuation or invalid code
feedback.
If the display is installed, pressing
move the most recently entered digit; pressing and holding
(Cancel) for two seconds deletes all the digits entered

If the display is installed, it gives feedback on the validity of
the code entered.
If the above-mentioned buttons are not pressed for more than
5 seconds, the system exits code entry mode.
3.2. Configuration
The codes can be managed and defined by the installer.
The codes have a variable length, and a maximum of 8 digits.
The codes are programmed by entering the AV module.
Connect the PC to the USB and follow the directions for using
Winboot.
4. Call mode

If the
module 41018 is fitted, the keypad module can
be used to make a call by directly keying in the desired exten-
sion number.
In standby mode enter the number and confirm.
