5. MAINTENANCE
AND CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
Before inspection, maintenance and
cleaning works, turn the equipment off
and remove the battery.
This equipment doesn't need additional
lubrication or maintenance. However,
it
needs
a
proper
and a regular cleaning to operate
continuously with no issues.
5.1 - CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning
After
each
use
clean
components. Clean the machine with a
clean and damp cloth and blow it with
low pressure compressed air. A careful
handling protects the machine and
extends its lifespan.
Problem - Cause
The tool doesn't activate when pressing the
"ON/OFF" switch:
� Discharged battery;
� The switch isn't working or the connections are
damaged;
The "ON/OFF" switch is locked:
� The rotation mode selector is in middle position and is
locking the switch;
The engine sounds irregularly, turns on
intermittently or spins slowly:
� Switch connections are damaged;
� Mechanical obstruction;
� The machine is running over excessive pressure,
engine in overload;
Accessories locking/unlocking sleeve heats too
much:
� Lack of grease inside the locking/unlocking sleeve;
The equipment heats too much:
� Machine in overload;
� Incorrect housing or internal parts assembly;

Remove and clean regularly the
accumulated grease inside the locking/
unlocking sleeve.
This machine and its ventilation
openings must be always clean. Clean
it regularly or every time they get
obstructed.
Storage
Every time the machine isn't being
used, store it inside dry, clean and
maintenance
corrosive steam free places away from
children's reach. Remove the battery
when storing the hammer.

Solution
� Charge the battery;
� Repair or replace the switch;
� Press the selector rotating it over the desired rotation
direction;
� Repair or replace the switch;
� Check the mechanical parts;
� Reduce the pressure;
� Grease the fitting crevice of the drilling accessory;
� Reduce the pressure;
� Check if there's any obstruction or parts touching the
shaft;
Never place power tools in
the domestic waste!
According to the European Directive
2012/19
/EC
on
electrical
electronic equipment waste and its
transposition into national law, power
tools must be collected separately
and delivered to the collection sites
provided for this purpose.
You can obtain information regarding
the disposal of the machine through
the person in charge for the recycling
in your city.
