Tomato and
Cheese Arepa
Ingredients:

2 cups white corn flour
•
2 cups warm water
•
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
•
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Steps:
•
Place all ingredients, except pesto sauce, cheese and tomatoes, in a
large bowl and knead well with hands until smooth.
•
Form the dough into balls.
•
Bake for 7-10 minutes or until fully cooked.
•
Let the arepas cool for a few minutes, then carefully by using an oven
mitt slice it open, spread with pesto sauce and fill with mozzarella
cheese and tomato.
