3. Feed chain into groove of bar and slide bar away
from the motor to remove slack from chain.
4. Replace Belleville washer. IMPORTANT: The ser-
rated edge of the Belleville washer must be in con-
tact with the guide bar as shown in Figure 3.

5. Replace sprocket cover (see Figure 1, page 3).
6. Replace guide bar nut on guide bar bolt and finger
tighten (see Figure 1, page 3).
7. See Saw Chain Tension Adjustment to properly ten-
sion saw chain.
