Directions for applying:
Position the opened clasp from the outside onto the ou-
ter forearm so that the larger of the two pads rests on the
upper side of the forearm and is turned slightly towards the
body. The Epi-med
strap. The strap is fastened to the hook and loop fastener
firmly but not tightly. Tighten the strap up to the tactile mark
(A) engraved on the fleece belt strap. The Epi-med
should not exert tangible pressure when the musculature is
relaxed, compression should be felt only when the forearm
musculature is tensed.
Use of the silicone compression pads (flexipads):
If the clasp pressure is not sufficient, it is possible to increase
it by using the enclosed flexipads. To do this, remove the
fastened padding partially in the corresponding area and
position the flexipad in the area which is bordered by the
Velcro fastening (B). Then re-fasten the padding and press on
firmly.
Care:
To clean the padding, remove it and wash it with a mild
detergent at 30°C. Carefully squeeze the water out and dry
the padding away from a heat source. The plastic clasp and
the belt can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
