Injection Seal Kit
This kit contains:
(1) J024 Injection
sleeve o-ring
(1) J101 Injection stem
o-ring (old style)
(1) JDI098 Injection stem
o-ring (new
style)
(1) JDI011 Top seal
(1) PJDI026 Check valve
assembly

3. Unscrew and remove the check
valve nut (PDI036). Remove the
check valve assembly
by grasping and pulling the barbed
fitting straight down.
Do not twist.
Also remove
the check valve
spring assembly.

4. Unscrew and
remove locking nut
(P168), antifriction
ring (P189), and ad-
justing nut (P167) from
the injection sleeve
(P165). Remove white
injection stem from
sleeve by pushing up
from bottom. Remove
the injection stem o-
ring and replace with
(J101 or JDI098) de-
pending on which one
you have. Remove
and replace the injection sleeve
o-ring (J024).

5. Using a quarter, unscrew and remove
the top seal retainer nut (P446) from
(PJDI026) stem. Using a small, flat screwdriver,
gently remove the top seal retainer
(P447) and the top seal
care not to scratch the injection stem.
Insert new top seal
sure the raised part faces up. Re-insert
the top seal retainer (P447). Make sure

the taller edge is up. Re-insert the top
seal retainer nut (P446), hand tighten
back onto the stem with a quarter.
6. Reinsert the injection
stem into the sleeve

hand tight.

We recommend cleaning all parts with warm
soapy water and a toothbrush before installing
the new parts.
Water normally lubricates the parts, but you
may use silicone on the o-ring to facilitate
insertion.
Check valve may be taken apart and cleaned
in between maintenance to remove particles.

Instructions
(Parts included in kit noted in blue)
1.
Unscrew suction hose nut (PDI038)
and remove suction hose. Using a
#2 Phillips screwdriver, remove all
four screws at the base of the unit.
2. Pull the injection stem assembly
(CD085) down to remove it.

holes in the body. Using a #2 Phillips
screwdriver, install the four screws and
tighten in a rotating pattern. Screw
hose nut back on.
