For a maximum period of time of 10 minutes
Pull away the Rospot (9). if you would like to perform other welding tasks insert a new accessory
part in the electrode and then proceed again as described above.
3.5 Using the helve hammer
The helve hammer (1-1) together with the clamping chuck (Illustration 1-2) to clamp accessory
parts is used to pull out and straighten deformed steel sheets.
Open the clamping chuck (Illustration 2-1), the knurled ring (Illustration 2-2) and turn it
clockwise; then insert it into the nail welded on the steel sheet which needs to be straightened
Illustration 2-3).
Fix the clamping chuck to the nail. To do so, turn the knurled ring anti-clockwise (Illustration 2-4).
Seize the hammer on the top protected handle (Illustration 2-5). Engage at the stop (Illustration
2-6) until the steel sheet adopts the required shape in this area.
Release the clamping chuck and pull the hammer off the nail. Repeat the above described
operations for all welded nails until the steel sheet is completely straightened.
Finally cut off the welded nails
using tongs.
Use the corresponding hook
included in the delivery (Illustration
2-8) for pulling out the discs
(Illustration 2-7). In doing so, insert
the straight end (Illustration 2-9) in
the clamping chuck (Illustration
2-10) of the hammer and firmly
tighten it.
