NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
− Never use harsh, scouring or abrasive cleaning agents or the like to
clean the scale. Otherwise, the surface could be scratched.
− Wipe the scale as needed with a slightly damp soft cloth.
− Disinfect the weighing surface and the sensors from time to time using a suitable
disinfecting agent (available at specialist retailers and pharmacies).

Possible cause
Are the batteries empty or inserted the
wrong way around?
Is the scale located on a firm, even surface?
Is a device that can cause electromagnetic
disturbances located in the vicinity of the
scale?
Remove the battery from the scale and wait
a moment. Reinsert the battery. The data
stored up to this point will be retained.
The maximum capacity of the scale (180 kg)
has been exceeded.
The battery is empty (see "Changing the
battery").
The fat proportion % is too low: Below 4%
