FAN ENCLOSURE MAINTENANCE
(Fig. 9 & Fig. 10)
1. Turn off the fan and remove the
battery pack.
2. Loosen and remove the six
screws to PARTIALLY lift the
front grill guard off from the fan
enclosure.
CAUTION:
do not remove the front grill guard
completely without disconnecting the
intake tube FIRST.
3. Depress the black rubber at end
of the nut to pull out the intake
tube.
4. Remove the front grill guard
completely.
5. Rotate the fan blade lock cover
clockwise to release the fan blade from the shaft.
6. Remove the fan blade.
7. Clean the fan blade and the enclosure interior as necessary.
8. Reassemble them in reverse order, and make sure:
◾
the intake tube is properly connected to the nut.
◾
the intake tube is placed properly into the slot on the grill guard.
