Antenna location
•
We recommend using our range of antennas (Cf Stand-Alone products catalogue, p6: section «accessories
selection guide»).
•
The antenna must be installed in a free field and be at least 10 cm from any conducting material. No metal
obstacles should be within a radius of less than 1 metre.
•
Install the 2 antennas in line of sight.
•
If the modem is incorporated into an electrical cabinet, the antenna must be installed outside. The same is
true if the modem is located inside a building and must communicate with a modem installed outside.
•
The coaxial cable must be as short as possible (25m cable => 6db attenuation => range divided by 2).
•

Installation recommendation
The modem can be directly fixed against a vertical support by following the specify dimension of the chapter 1.1.
An accessory can be add to the modem, if for a specific need the modem need to be fixed on a rail DIN(ref :
ACC1400AT).
