EMP Protection
Depending of the installation of the modem, a protection against dangerous surge signals have to be added
between the modem and the antenna. A storm could destroy definitely the product when a lightning hit the
antenna.
Any lightning protector can be put between the modem with external antenna and the antenna but you have to
make sure to follow the recommendation of the manufacturer

2.1.1 Assembly/Disassembly Product
To connect to a cable modem, it is necessary to open the case by removing the bottom cover of the case in
accordance with the following steps:
•
Remove the 2 screws from the bottom cover keeps
•
Unscrew and remove the gland ring and the seal
•
Insert the clamping ring and gasket on the cable before passing it through the gland cover
•
Realize the connection to the terminals of the card following the desired configuration (see chapter 2.2 and
2.3)
•
Make sure you have correctly configured the switches to the appropriate mode of communication before
closed the product.
•
Close the housing, starting with the cover.
