DECAL INSTALLATION
1.
Trim out the paper template, align the edges to the hood panel and
tape the template into place (Figure 1).
2.
Thoroughly saturate the hood surface with the soap/water
surfactant.

Carefully remove the white liner from the decal. The adhesive side of
the decal will now be exposed.

Thoroughly saturate the adhesive with the surfactant.

NOTE: If the decal appears to have too much adhesion and does not

not be pressed into place at this time.

11. Inspect the decal for any areas that may not be fully adhered (not
including the front and rear edges). If an edge is lifting, spray
surfactant onto this area, wrap the squeegee in a towel and carefully
press the area into place and toward the outer edge of the decal.
12. If a bubble has formed that cannot be pressed out the side of the
decal, use a sewing needle to pierce a hole in the bubble that will
allow the soap/water to escape.

14. After the edges have been wrapped, the decal can be hand-washed
but a high-pressure spray wash on the decal should not be used
