Remove the aluminum skid plate from vehicle. Replace and retighten the two M8 bolts that attach to the plate covering the
Transmission housing. Return the skid plate and two remaining M8 bolts to owner.
2.
Swing the hitch into position inside of the rails and secure with the 5/8 bolts, block on the outside of the frame rail and flanged
locknut as shown. Hand tighten only.
3.
Install 9/16 bolt, flat washer on the outside of the frame rail and flanged locknut as shown.
4.
Tighten all fasteners to torque specifications as listed.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to
prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working
beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

and SAE J684.

Tighten all 9/16-18 fasteners with torque wrench to 120 Lb.-Ft.
Tighten all 5/8-11 fasteners with torque wrench to 150 Lb.-Ft.
